Vermont Academy Walk It Off Against Kimball Union

Vermont Academy took Friday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 2-1 walk-off victory over Kimball Union Academy. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the sixth when Shane Prusak hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
 
Both teams were strong on the bump. Vermont Academy pitchers struck out five, while Kimball Union Academy sat down seven. 
 
Vermont Academy got on the board in the first inning after an error scored one run.
 
Ben Constantine doubled, which helped Kimball Union Academy tie the game at one in the top of the second.
 
Logan Sinacola earned the win for Vermont Academy. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Yiyi She took the loss for Kimball Union. The reliever went one and one-third innings, giving up one run on zero hits, striking out one and walking four. Leo Barta started the game for Kimball Union. The righty allowed zero hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking one.
 
Prusak led the team with one run batted in. Vermont Academy had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Sinacola and Will Anderson led the team with two bases on balls each.
 
Aidan Gracey, Eli Suchecki, and Constantine each collected one hit for Kimball Union. Constantine led Kimball Union Academy with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day.
 
Vermont Academy has a home game against Tilton School on Wednesday. First pitch is 3:30.
