Alumni Council
All general members of the Vermont Academy Alumni Association (VAAA) who are not employees of Vermont Academy are eligible to be elected as volunteer Council members. Alumni Councilors support Vermont Academy with an annual gift, attend four Council meetings each year, attend committee meetings as scheduled, assume an active leadership role in the Alumni Association, support and participate in Vermont Academy programs and events, and actively share VA news and updates with fellow alumni, prospective students, and acquaintances.
The work of the Alumni Council is guided by the Vermont Academy Alumni Association bylaws.

Connecting: Keeping class spirit alive through calls, emails, social networking, and thank you notes. Class representatives are the lifeblood of the alumni class and actively reach out to encourage connection. Class representatives seek out classmate news and updates and assist with Reunion outreach.

Giving: Class representatives set the example and lead the way when they make an annual gift early in the fiscal year.

Asking: Class representatives support Vermont Academy students of today and tomorrow by asking classmates to join them in making a financial gift to the school.
