Logan Sinacola Puts On Strong Contact Performance As Vermont Academy Take The Win Over Brewster Academy

Logan Sinacola collected three hits in four at bats, as Vermont Academy defeated Brewster Academy 9-4 on Wednesday. Sinacola singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
 
Vermont Academy got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Lucas  Sinacola doubled, and Milo Tucker hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
 
Vermont Academy added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Sinacola singled, Tucker doubled, and Vermont Academy scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
 
Tucker earned the win for Vermont Academy. He gave up two hits and one run over three innings, striking out five and walking none. Tanner Alberg took the loss for Brewster Academy. He went six innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits, striking out four and walking three. Eli Boxer and Aiden Garvey each appeared in relief for Vermont Academy.
 
Vermont Academy piled up 12 hits in the game. Tucker provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Vermont Academy with three runs batted in. Tucker went 2-for-3 on the day. Sinacola and Kaiden McCarthy each collected multiple hits for Vermont Academy. Sinacola stole two bases. The Wildcats ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game.
 
Travis Gillen led Brewster Academy with two hits in three at bats. Daiki Nishikawa, Shawn Oelheim, and Austin Luciani each drove in one run for Brewster Academy.
 
Vermont Academy plays Kimball Union Academy on Friday in a double header starting at 4:30.
