Kaiden McCarthy’s Big Day Propels Vermont Academy Wildcats Past Tilton School

Kaiden McCarthy drove in four runs on three hits to lead Vermont Academy Wildcats past Tilton School 13-0 on Wednesday. McCarthy singled in the third inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the fourth inning, scoring two.
 
The Wildcats scored seven runs in the third inning on the way to victory.  Logan Sinacola singled, scoring one run, Milo Tucker singled, scoring two runs, Eli Boxer grounded out, scoring one run, McCarthy singled, scoring two runs, and Lucas  Sinacola singled, scoring one run.
 
Vermont Academy Wildcats were the first to get on the board in the first when Tucker hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs.
 
Logan Sinacola earned the win for the Wildcats. He allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking two. Ryan Turnel took the loss for Tilton School. 
 
Vermont Academy accumulated 13 hits in the game. Lucas Sinacola and McCarthy each collected three hits for Vermont Academy. Shane Prusak and Logan Sinacola each collected multiple hits for Vermont Academy. Vermont Academy were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Prusak had the most chances in the field with five.
 
Marty Pierce led Tilton School with one hit in two at bats. Tilton turned one double play in the game.
 
Next up for Vermont Academy is a game against Proctor Academy on Friday at home starting at 5:00.
