First game of the season
Winchendon
The girls JV Hockey team traveled to Winchendon for their first game of the season. Winchendon started out fast and had the Wildcats on their heels with four quick goals in the first period. VA answered back in the second period with Emma Ostiguy notching the first goal for the away team. Stella Noonan helped out the cause with another goal. This game was exciting and continued on in a back-and-forth fashion. After being down by four goals VA gave themselves a chance to tie late in the third, nearly scoring with a pulled goalie. The final score was 7-6.
Vermont Academy is a coed college preparatory boarding and day school in southern Vermont, serving grades 9-12 plus a postgraduate year.
