Wildcats loss a close one 3-2 at Brewster Academy

The Wildcats played a great game from start to finish but came up short in a close 3-2 game against Brewster. 


The Wildcats traveled to Brewster Academy to play their first Lakes Region game of the season. Mason Kucenski got the start in net for the Wildcats. 

The Wildcats came out fast and had some great offensive pressure early in the 1st period. Brewster generated some good chances but the first period ended scoreless. The Wildcats came out strong in the second but got behind 1-0half way through the 2nd period. After a couple Brewster penalties, the Wildcats were able to capitalize, Cody White '21 potted his first varsity goal for the Wildcats to even the score at 1. Later in the period Chen Zadik took a loose puck and skated end to end and feed Quincy Green '22 for his first varsity goal. The Wildcats went to the locker room with a 2-1 lead. Brewster brought a lot of pressure and was able to score 2 late goals in the 3rd period to win 3-2. 

Mason Kucenski was great in net again, stopping 46 of 49 shots.
