Kalty ’20 Competes in 5 Nations Tournament
From November 6 -10 Kristyna “Kalty” Kaltounkova ’20 took part in the Euro Hockey Tour 5 Nations Tournament in Dmitrov, Russia with the Czech National Program.
The tournament was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of women’s ice hockey in Russia.
The tournament included teams from Russia, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Kalty had 3 points in 4 games with 3 goals and 0 assists and received player of the game against Switzerland. The Czech went 4-0 beating Switzerland 8-0, Finland 2-1, Germany 2-1, and Russia 4-0 in the championship.
Kalty will compete at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship in the Czech Republic from December 26 – January 5.
