Cushing

The Boys JV traveled to Cushing Academy to take on a strong Penguins team.
In the bitterly cold wind and rain the Wildcats struggled with ball possession. Cushing was able to capitalize on a couple Vermont turnovers and establish an early lead. The Wildcats played hard to keep it close, but effective team play from Cushing, solid goaltending, and injuries on the VA side, made this a difficult task. VA JV will seek to rebound once again in their upcoming matchup with Cardigan Mountain School. When asked about the game Coach Schilling said, “we need to get better at managing the aspects of the game that are within our control.”
