Boys’ Basketball Clinic with Chester Recreation
Vermont Academy and the Chester Recreation Department teamed up for a free basketball clinic on Sunday, October 6th.
Members of the Vermont Academy Boys’ Basketball program put the local youngsters' ages 7-15 through skills and drills throughout the afternoon. The event capped off with Q & A about preparation, college recruitment, and much more.
Head Boys’ Basketball Coach, Alex Popp said, “It was great to see our kids giving back to the community and to the game that they love.”
Students included in the clinic: Bijon '20, Jake C. '20 Raphe '20, CJ '20, Evan S. '20, Andy C. '20, Blake '20, Nana '21, Joshua B. '21, Tyler A '21, Nate G ’21, Ty H. '22, and Omela '23.
Vermont Academy is a coed college preparatory boarding and day school in southern Vermont, serving grades 9-12 plus a postgraduate year.
