The score and the game not always reflect the same

 

The Wildcats faced-off against a strong Deerfield Academy unit on Wednesday. The game was very competitive, with scoring opportunities on both sides of the ball. Deerfied scored with 10 minutes to play in the first half, and led 1-0 for much of the game. Vermont academy continued to battle throughout the contest and had chances to pull close, but Deerfield played strong defense and was able to break through with a few goals late in the second half. The final score was Deerfield 4, Vermont Academy 0.
