Special Olympic Monadnock Games
On Saturday May 4, Vermont Academy traveled down to Keene, NH with 30+ students to volunteer at the Special Olympic Monadnock Games.
The Monadnock Games are the regional qualifiers for Special Olympic athletes. Based on their results, they are grouped and qualify for States and then Nationals. It was a great day. We organized events, officiated, timed track events, and were just overall cheerleaders for these amazing athletes. Our kids had a great time and made some new friends along the way.
