Digital Photography Recreates Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho"

Ms. Meredith Friel’s Digital Photography class explored an empty house on campus after watching Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho this past week.
During the screening, students were encouraged to notice Hitchcock’s composition, lighting, and camera movement.

While exploring the empty house students were given stills from the movie to recreate. The students loved being able to take photographs in a space away from the usual spots on campus. By shooting in the style of Hitchcock they learned how to manipulate a scene, create drama in a single frame, and direct each other.
