Vermont traveled to Concord, New Hampshire on Friday afternoon to face off with St. Paul’s School in the Lakes Region Semi-Finals. Puck drop was at 4 p.m.
St. Paul’s scored three goals in the first period. However, the Wildcats kept battling and were able to score in the second on the power play. D. McCarthy ’22 had the goal and Kaltounkova ’20 the assist. Vermont tried to keep pushing on the power play, however with a few bounces St. Paul’s was able to add two more goals. Jandusikova ’20 added a goal for the Wildcats in the third off of an offensive zone faceoff. Kaltounkova ’20 had the assist. The Wildcats were unable to add any more and ultimately fell to the Pelicans. Segui ’21 started the game, however Paquin ’22 finished in net for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats will travel to New Hampton School on Saturday to play in the Lakes Region consolation game at 4 p.m.
