Vermont Academy alumni and friends are invited to gather at The BCA Center (135 Church St, Burlington, VT) on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Dive into the Jane Kent exhibit with a short tour led by VA Art Department Chair Lisa (Eckhardt) McNealus '79, enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and a beer and wine bar, and get to know fellow members of the Vermont Academy community in the Burlington area!

The Downtown Garage (60 College Street) is located two blocks from The BCA Center and offers 2 hours of parking for free. It is a paid garage after that time. 

Guests should enter The BCA Center through the side door.

About Jane Kent...
Jane Kent is a professor at the University of Vermont (UVM) and a printmaker. Read her UVM bio below.

"Jane Kent is an artist whose work and teaching involves the material of printmaking. She offers courses in all levels of silkscreen and drawing. She graduated from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, Pa. Selected solo exhibitions include the International Print Biennale, Newcastle- upon-Tyne, UK; CG Boerner, NY; International Print Center of New York, NY; the Mississippi Museum of Art, Jackson, Miss. Selected awards are the Barbara and Thomas Putnam Fellowship, MacDowell Colony, Peterborough, NH; Yaddo Artists’ Fellowships, Saratoga Springs, NY; Faculty Research Support Awards in the Arts, UVM and the National Endowment for the Arts Artists’ Fellowship. Selected public collections include Rare Books Division and the Prints Division, Library of Congress, Washington, DC; New York Public Library, Spencer Collection; Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn, NY; National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC, Print and Word Collection, Victoria And Albert Museum, London, UK; Bieneke Library, Yale University and the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY. Jane Kent is Professor and Chair of the Department of Art and Art History."
