Moderator: Bruce Barton, Director of College Counseling at Holderness School Burce is a long-standing educator and mentor at Holderness. In addition to directing college counseling, Bruce is also an assistant chaplain and a dorm parent, just two of the many roles he has filled since joining the faculty at Holderness School in 1988.

Scott Buckley '02 (Vermont Academy), President of Green Lantern Solar A seasoned management professional who has held executive positions at ENPRO Environmental and Keller Williams Vermont, Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and a master’s degree from Harvard University. He previously served as a board member for the Vermont Environmental Consortium.
Jay Connolly '03 (Holderness School), President of Connolly Brothers Inc. Jay is president of Connolly Brothers, Inc., a construction management firm serving private commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. Clients have turned to Connolly for all aspects of their construction projects, from planning and design to real estate development.
Joanna De Pena '08 (Proctor Academy), Founder of Top Notch Scholars Joanna is an author, entrepreneur, and CEO of Top Notch Scholars. Joanna founded Top Notch Scholars in 2015, a non-profit that empowers youth through leadership development by providing workshops, motivational speaking engagements, and internship opportunities for high school students in the Greater Boston area.
Andrew Guard '01 (Vermont Academy), COO of Culture Pop Soda Andrew is a seasoned beverage entrepreneur. He currently is the Founder and CEO of The Guard Agency and a co-founder of one of the fastest-growing beverage brands, Culture Pop.
Scott McCarty '04 (Dublin School), Director of Provider Disruption Strategy Scott McCarty is the Director of Provider Disruption Strategy at UnitedHealth Group, a certified beer snob, hiker, skier, and alum of Dublin School. After receiving his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Vermont, Scott turned his attention to health policy. Most importantly, Scott has a passion and drive to put patients in control of their health and never lose sight of that in defining strategic paths and growth for his clients.
Molyna Richards '04 (White Mountain School), Executive Director at The Waltham Chamber of Commerce
Molyna is the Executive Director at The Waltham Chamber of Commerce in Waltham, MA. She was recently awarded the honor of one of ACCE's Forty Under 40, which recognizes the top emerging leaders in the chamber of commerce industry. Her work experience includes business and hospitality management, employment consultant, photojournalism, and mentoring.
Alan Stevenson ’00 (Cardigan Mountain School), Founder of 33Eleven Partners Al graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Economics and played Division I Ice Hockey. He is a four-time Ironman and part-time golfer, full-time web3 enthusiast, and student, and has been deeply involved in the startup ecosystem for over a decade.
Covid-19 Guidelines Boston has lifted vaccine and mask requirements. As such, this is a "mask optional" event and all attendees are encouraged to wear a mask, or not, based on personal levels of comfort.
