VA 5k Pumpkin Run/Walk

In late October, Vermont Academy holds our annual Pumpkin Run for the entire VA student body. This year, we're excited to open the Pumpkin Run - a casual, non-chipped 5k run through VA's campus trails - to alumni walkers and runners.
Schedule
Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable item to donate to Our Place, a local nonprofit that offers a food shelf in addition to nourishing and free breakfasts and lunches to the community.
About the Route
Beginning on Fuller Field, participants should be prepared to run on Vermont Academy's fields and trails. This hilly run includes an ascent up part of the ski hill.
Rain Dates
If the Pumpkin Run is postponed due to inclement weather, an email will be sent to registrants and a note will be posted on this page. Rain dates, should they be needed, are Thursday, October 26, and Monday, October 31.
Waiver
Participants will sign a liability waiver at the alumni check-in tent upon arrival.

- 3:30 p.m. 5k Begins
- Post-Run Awards Ceremony
