The mountain bike team has reached the midway point of our competition season and the hard work is paying off. On a challenging course including long climbs, and slick technical descent. The Wildcats excelled.In the C race Cody Thurber '19, put a strong ride together to finish in 15th, followed by Sammy Paprin '20 in 19th place. Next was Edward Ahn '20 in 30th.In the B race Maurice Day "21 continued with his solid results in 4th, Graesyn Scruton '19 got the holeshot and was leading at the start, but succumbed to the slippery conditions and had some falls. He quickly recovered to finish in 10th. Gary Huang '20 had a very good race to finish in 12th.Rounding out the VA Bs was Peter Zhao '20 in 18th. A special thanks to Cody Thurbers mom for preparing the team some delicious home made energy snacks.Saturday we travel up the interstate to KUA for race 5 of the season. A 330 start at Plainfield Elementary School trails. Come out and witness the action!
