As the singles matches unfolded we were tested in both serve and volley. In #1 Singles Kihoon Song continued to step up. Kihoon played well but succumbed 4-8. The #2 singles match featured The rapidly rising Peter Zhao laying down some rocket serves, including 3 aces. Peters match ended with a 3-8 result. Luis Apelfeld stepped out of his role in # 1 doubles due to his partners injury and battled to a 7-7 score before giving up the final 2 games for a 7-9 result. The final match of the day featured JunSeo Lee and Danny Ye battling to a 9-7 win. I am very impressed with the members of the team who show up every day and put in the work to improve and share the effort needed to have a solid team experience while enjoying the sport of tennis.
