Thank You, VA Alumni — You Made One Day for VA a Huge Success!

We’re blown away by the incredible support from our alumni community during this year’s One Day for VA. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we didn’t just meet our goal — we exceeded it in true Wildcat fashion!
With 362 donors and more than $139,000 raised (and still counting as mailed gifts arrive), this year’s giving day was very successful. It was inspiring to see alumni across generations come together to celebrate Vermont Academy and give back to the place that shaped so many of us.

A special thank-you goes out to our Class Representatives, whose outreach and leadership helped rally classmates and amplify the VA spirit. Your dedication made a tremendous difference!

Here on campus, students, faculty, and staff were energized as support rolled in. Your heartfelt tributes to beloved teachers, coaches, and mentors reminded us all why VA continues to be such a meaningful and lasting community.

In the evening the Alumni Council hosted a Happy Hour. Attendees enjoyed orange-themed beverages and donned their VA garb. Thank you to Lizzy Dings ’12 and Allegra Handler ’13 for organizing.

Thank you for showing what’s possible when alumni come together — your support on One Day for VA fuels our mission and strengthens the future of Vermont Academy.

P.S. If you missed your chance to participate in One Day for VA, it’s not too late! You can still make a gift and show your VA pride by clicking here.
