Upper Valley VT/NH Reception Provides Opportunities for Learning and Appreciation
On a beautiful fall evening, more than 30 alumni, parents, former faculty, former trustees, and friends of Vermont Academy gathered at Jesse’s Steaks, Seafood & Tavern in Hanover, NH. The atmosphere was lively and the appetizers were delicious.
Guests spent the evening reconnecting with one another, sharing stories of their time at Vermont Academy, and updating one another about what they are doing now. They were pleased to have opportunities to chat with Head of School Dr. Jennifer L. Zaccara, former headmaster Mike Choukas ’46, Director of Advancement Tonia Fleming P ’18, current VA Trustee Mike Choukas ’73, and the five former trustees in attendance.
Head of School Dr. Jennifer L. Zaccara shared a brief update about the opening of the school year, our strong enrollment numbers and goals, the LaLiga program, and our multi-campus school - with locations in Saxtons River, at Mount Snow, and in Spain.
Attendees were excited about Vermont Academy’s future and left the event feeling even more connected to one another and our school on the hilltop.
