The Vermont Academy JV Hockey Program is a foundational step in building confident, well-rounded student-athletes prepared to compete at the varsity level. Our focus is on long-term development, emphasizing individual skill progression, game awareness, and hockey IQ while reinforcing strong habits both on and off the ice. Athletes are challenged to improve skating, puck skills, and fast decision making in game situations, while also committing to off-ice strength, conditioning, and athletic development.

As the program continues through an important transition phase, our goal is to establish a deeper, more competitive feeder system that supports sustained varsity success. We are actively recruiting motivated athletes who are eager to develop, compete, and grow within a structured, team-first environment. The JV program serves as a critical pathway, preparing players physically, mentally, and tactically for the demands of varsity hockey at Vermont Academy.
