The Wildcats scored three third period goals to break open a tightly contested game against the Pingree School to earn a 6-0 victory in their first home game of the season. The Wildcats outshot Pingree School by a margin of 63-13. Maika Paquin and Lea Grassia split the goaltending duties and combined efforts for the shutout.
Julia Mesplede lead the Wildcats with a four point night, scoring two goals and recording two assists. Mazi Mazancova had a strong night, recording three points and finishing with a +4 plus/minus rating.
Eva Hofmeister was steady on the blueline, playing with poise and confidence, making smart decisions with the puck, while finishing with a +2 plus/minus rating for the evening.
The Wildcats will host Lakes Region rival KUA on Wednesday night.
