Vermont Shuts out Tilton
Jake Tuckner didn't allow a single run against Titlon School, throwing a complete game shutout leading Vermont to a 5-0 victory Wednesday. Jake was the winning pitcher alloweing four hits while striking out six and walking zero.
Vermont got the offense started in the first inning when Anthony Santosuosso singled to left field, Wazan Hoshino bunted Santosuosso over to second. John Peloso reached on a error, Tuckner then doubled to score Santosuosso and advanced Peloso to third. Drew Naylor then hit a single to score Peloso to make it 2-0. Tuckner was then balked in to finish out the scoring to make it 3-0 after one inning.
Vermont had 4 hits on the day with Santosuosso leading with two hits.
Next game for the wildcats is this friday as they travel to Proctor Academy. First pitch is at 4:30
