Patrick shared that after graduating from Vermont Academy in 2019, he attended Roger Williams University (RI) studying International Relations and Spanish. He has since built a career in the private club industry and is currently working on the management team at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.

The opportunity to participate in athletics, the arts, and a wide range of campus activities while at VA helped him grow both personally and professionally. As a Class Representative, he has enjoyed staying connected and is honored to have the opportunity to further give back and continue supporting Vermont Academy as a member of the Alumni Council.

Alana’s experience at VA included serving as President of the Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA), was a captain of the Girls’ Varsity hockey, lacrosse, field hockey teams, worked as a student tour guide, and served as a Proctor. These experiences fostered her passion for leadership, service, and building meaningful relationships.

After graduating from Vermont Academy, Alana continued her academic and athletic career at Post University (CT), where she competed in NCAA Division I ice hockey and Division II lacrosse. She is currently pursuing her nursing degree at Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, while working as a Mental Health Technician at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. She hopes to build a career in psychiatric nursing, combining compassionate patient care with advocacy for mental health.

One of Alana’s favorite memories from Vermont Academy is spending Saturday nights in Shep with her friends and teammates. Whether it was laughing in the dorm, supporting one another, or simply enjoying time together, those moments created lifelong friendships and some of her most cherished memories.

Jeff is a member of this year’s 50th Reunion Class. What started as a VA winter pastime under faculty member Bob Hewitt’s tutelage soon became a passion leading to a formal education in photography. He has spent the last decades working in the photo industry as a technical representative, educator, and a professional photographer. Today, he provides education, sales and technical assistance in photography while managing a commercial photography business.

Jeff, along with his new Alumni Council peers are excited to serve in this capacity and look forward to assisting in fostering connections between VA and our alumni community.
