Wildcats Holdoff Holderness

The Wildcats earned a hard fought victory over Holderness School on Monday afternoon. The victory improved the Wildcat's record to 15-2-1.

Summer Combe opened the scoring for Vermont Academy in the first period on a nice pass from Danielle McCarthy. The period would end with the scored tied at one.

The Wildcats found their legs in the second period, with Danielle McCarthy scoring two goals, both assisted by Summer Combe.

Holderness closed the gap to 3-2 in the third period before Liv Brooks scored late in the period to secure the victory for Vermont Academy.

Lea Grassia earned her 4th win of the season stopping 16 Holderness shots on goal.
