The Scholarship:
  • A merit scholarship opportunity for students who live in Vermont
  • Merit scholarships range from $5,000-$16,000 annually
  • No additional application is required, students residing in Vermont are automatically considered for the merit scholarship at the time of application
  • Students must submit their application by the deadline to be considered for the merit scholarship
  • The scholarship is renewable annually for up to four years, for students who remain in good academic and community standing
  • Families still have the opportunity to apply for need-based financial aid 
  • Families living in sending/tuitioning towns can potentially further reduce the cost of investing in a Vermont Academy education by the amount of their town’s contribution.
