Wildcats Capture Tournament Title!

The Wildcats defeated The Hill School 3-2 in a shoot-out to win the Exeter Academy Holiday Tournament. This was a back and forth contest needing overtime and a shoot-out to determine the winner. After a scoreless first period, the Wildcats scored twice, on goals by Riley Walsh and Julia Small to take a 2-0 lead after two periods. The Hill School was able to score twice in the third period to force overtime. After an evenly played overtime, the game moved to a shoot-out. The shoot-out required five shooters, before Julia Mesplede was able to find the back of the net and win the game.

Senior goalie, Maika Paquin, saved all five Hill School penalty shots and 25 of 27 shots in regulation and overtime to lead the Wildcats to a dramatic victory.
