Wildcats Advance to the Finals

The Wildcats matched up with host Exeter Academy in the second round of tournament play and came away with a hard fought 4-0 victory. Strong forechecking, solid defensive play, and outstanding goaltending helped the Wildcats secure the victory.

Wildcat goals were scored by Julia Mesplede, her first as a Wildcat, Liv Brooks, Riley Walsh, and Julia Small. Emma Morel anchored the defense, playing significant minutes and blocking five shots. Maika Paquin was in goal, making several key saves, and stopping all 21 Exeter shots on goal.

The Wildcats entered the third period with a 3-0 lead and played a near perfect third period to secure a trip to the finals of the Exeter Academy Holiday Tournament tomorrow against The Hill School.
