Why did you choose SUNY Buffalo State?

I chose SUNY Buffalo State because I felt it was the right choice for me academically and athletically. After visiting the campus I felt a connection with the coaches and I had that feeling I could see myself furthering academically and athletically for the next four years. 

What's it like to be a student-athlete at Vermont Academy?

It is a great feeling to be a student-athlete at Vermont Academy. I learned how to balance my academics and athletics wisely throughout my two years at Vermont Academy. I’ve built great relationships and memories with my teammates that I will cherish forever. 

Who would you like to thank for supporting you up to this point?

I would like to thank my parents, faculty, and all of my friends who have supported me up to this point.

What have you learned at VA that you will apply at the next level?

I learned time management and how to step out of my comfort zone and do things I never thought I would do in life. 

What does Vermont Academy mean to you?

Vermont Academy means a close community where everyone feels like it’s their second home. 

What does this opportunity represent for you and your family?

This opportunity being a college student-athlete is huge for my family. It’s a huge success for me and my family because they have guided me every step of the way throughout this journey.
