Wildcat Nation: Why did you choose the University of Vermont?
I chose the University of Vermont because it checked all of the boxes that my family and I wanted in my college search. School comes first and UVM provides a first-class education. Catamount basketball is consistently at the top of the America East Conference and I have always wanted to be apart of a winning program. Being at a school close to home and in a familiar setting brings an insurmountable feeling of joy and security.

Wildcat Nation: What's it like to be a student-athlete at Vermont Academy?
Being a student-athlete at Vermont Academy is challenging yet very rewarding. Every day is learning life skills and preparation to ultimately be a thriving student-athlete at the collegiate level. You are able to get a valuable overall experience that would benefit any individual.

Wildcat Nation: Who would you like to thank for supporting you up to this point?
I would like to thank my family for supporting me up to this point. There aren’t words that can express the level of appreciation that I have for how all seven of my family members have been vital to my success. My siblings and parents give me the world and all I can do is say thank you and return the favor through my actions. I would also like to thank my coaches here at school for helping me on and off the court. Lastly, I would like to thank Mr. Filler; my advisor who has been my biggest mentor throughout my time at VA.

Wildcat Nation: What have you learned at VA that you will apply at the next level?
I have learned the art of time management at VA. Here you learn to balance your academics, athletics, and social time appropriately. I have been granted the opportunity to play basketball constantly at a very high level while taking my academics seriously.

Wildcat Nation: What does Vermont Academy mean to you?
Vermont Academy is special to me because of the life lessons I have learned over this two-year journey. I have made life long connections with teammates, classmates, and VA staff that I will always remember.

Wildcat Nation: What does this opportunity represent for you and your family?
This opportunity is a dream come true for me and my family. I recall at a young age, being on the UVM campus and saying “I want to be a catamount” to my parents in Patrick Gym. My family and I are thankful for my opportunity at UVM, and I can’t wait to make the most of it!
