Home race, still home, even it is away

Although we had to move our home race to Dublin School trails system, as we do not have enough snow on ours, still the home race provided an additional boost.
5K individual start classical race. It was a format of the race. Mother nature gave us a chance to practice on our fields last week and for sure it did help. Alex Paluszek'20 had her best race so far in the season, placing 7th in a very competitive field of over 60 girls. This result is setting her up for a good show at the Championship races next two weeks.
On the boys race, Trevor Palmiotto'21 after racing last weekend at Easter Cup and NCAA races in Rumford, ME got much needed confidence in his performance and placed 10th - the best so far in the season. Huxley Holcombe '22 showing steady improvement from race to race and this time made it to the top 20, placing 17th. The other scoring team membres: Patrick Wu'22 finished in 26th place, Jerry Lin'20 in 35th and Jason Wang'22 in 41st place. Another success for the team was a completion of the challenging 5K course by one of our new team members - Henry Wakabayashi'20, who did it first time in his racing career!
Boys team moved up again in the team ranking, finishing 4th.
Next Wednesday is LR Championship again at Dublin NH.
