Slopestyle #2 at Ragged Mountain, NH

John Kelly
We are at the midway point of our competitive season and the squad is riding well. New Hampton School and Ragged Mountain were the hosts of this weeks freestyle competition. The course featured  side by side lines. One with 3 small jumps, and one with 3 ride on box/rail features. The end of the course had a 400 gallon propane tank to ride on, if you chose.

Our girls team was at full force with all 4 riders giving their all. Caroline, Lauren, Lilly, and Maggy all stepped up their riding in a very talented girls field to finish in 5th as a team of th 8 teams competing.

On the boys side we had Samson Orlinsky in 6th, Logan McAllister 13th, Emiliano Suarez 15th, Aaron Brown 16th, Hugo Nijeboer 17th, Maurice Day 18th, and Jacob Copeland in 19th. The boys efforts culminated with a 2nd place team score. I am very impressed with the efforts of both the girls and boys teams, as we have a fairly inexperienced group who are supporting and pushing each other to improve daily.
A big thanks to Coaches Burch and Sotskov, for their tireless efforts in our progression and successes.

Next week we travel to Mount Sunapee for Lakes region Slopestyle #3
Come out and witness the action!
