Big Win Over Ironbound U19
The Wildcats traveled to Connecticut for the second annual Prep Meets Club Tournament. Games were played at Wesleyan University, Yale University, and Northford Ice Pavilion. Vermont Academy opened the weekend against Ironbound U19 on Friday afternoon.
Vermont came out strong and was able to sustain the pressure the entire game, totaling eight goals. Segui ’21 kept the Wildcats in it, making some great saves to earn the shutout.
The Wildcats will face Rice Memorial on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at Wesleyan University.
Vermont Academy is a coed college preparatory boarding and day school in southern Vermont, serving grades 9-12 plus a postgraduate year.
