Home race - huge success

Yes, we knew the home course is an advantage, but very few expected our team to perform that well.
With pretty much all strong teams from the Lakes Region, except Holderness, but first time facing off the winners of last year Championship - St Pauls School, VA team demonstrated that we are a super competitive team. Over 70 runners on the start line and two 2.5 K loops on our spectacular wooded course - that was the story of the boy's race.
After the competition of the first loop of the race and our four runners in the top 12 positions, we knew it is going to be a good one! And for sure it was: Camron Feloney first time in his racing career broke up top 10, finishing in 7th place, Aaron Brown in 10th, Corey Dunn in 11th and Darwin Holcombe in 17th place. This was our top 4 for the team. Such a strong performance allowed our boy's team to finish second in team' competition, just shy of St Paul's team.
On the girl's side, Susannah Pennell managed to accomplish her goal, finishing not just in top10 but crossed the finish line in the 5th position! Jenna Powers came in 27th place, breaking up in the top 30.
