VA Bikers open the season with a big win.

A beautiful sunny day was the setting for race 1 featuring riders from throughout Northern New England and representing 24 schools. In the B races Maurice Day '21 exploded out of the start and never looked back, holding off several challengers in the 75 rider field to emerge victorious. Also in the B race was Gary Huang '20 in 53rd and Peter Zhao in 62nd. In the C race we had all but one of our crew entering their first race. Everyone finished the race. An impressive feat for a group of rookies. Our top finisher was Finn Scott '22 in 35th, Shane Xiong 96th, Josh Paprin 105th, and Dan Gorshkov 106th. VA will be hosting the next race of the season on Wednesday 9/25. Come out and witness the action!
