American Math Competition

Over the winter students participated in the MAA American Math Competition (AMC).
The Mathematical Association of America breaks the competition into two tests the AMC 10 taken by 9th and 10th graders and the AMC 12 taken by 11th and 12th graders. Our results were as follows:
For the AMC 10, Patrick Wu ’21 scored the highest with Ruihan Li ’21 and Yiwen Wu ’21 placing second and third.

On the AMC 12, Siyang Wang ’20 scored in the top 25% nationwide and the highest at VA. Kelin Pan ’19 placed second and Alex Paluszek ’20 third.
