Senior Night Win

Brewster Academy traveled to town for a Lakes Region matchup at 5 p.m. on Senior Night. The Wildcats won 7-1. Scoring: 1: Creamer '21 from Wood '20 and Citera '21 2: Kaltounkova '20 from Walsh '22 3: Keller '20 from Walsh '22 4: Creamer '21 from Walsh '22 and Loya '20 5: Kaltounkova '20 from Loya '20 6: Walsh '22 7: Creamer '21 from Citera '21 Vermont is back in action on Saturday against Tilton School for a Lakes Region matchup. The Wildcats finished 5th overall in Lakes Region. The game will be played at Vermont Academy time is TBD. Class of 2019 The Wildcats recognized their three seniors for their contributions to the Vermont Academy hockey program, listed below: #4 Aishling Cavanaugh Aishling is a postgraduate from Piermont, NY. During her short time as part of the Vermont Academy community, she has taken advantage of all VA has to offer from AP classes to various clubs. She has also been a positive member of the hockey team this year. This season Ash has posted one goal and three assists for four points. Next year, Aish is looking to attend nursing school and hoping to continue to play hockey. #33 Sarah Jacobelli Sarah is a four-year senior hailing from Prescott, AZ. While a part of the VA community Sarah has not only been a member of the ice hockey team, but also the field hockey, crew, lacrosse, rock climbing, and strength and conditioning teams. She has also found her voice as part of the LGBTQ community on campus. Sarah has been a consistent force in net for the Wildcats with a career record of 35-23-3 and 2.63 save percentage. #20 Sophie Streed Sophie is a two year senior all the way from Surry, NH. Over the past two years, Sophie has become a vital member of the community as well as a consistent ride to Dunkin for many boarding students. Sophie has also been a member of the cross country, soccer, and lacrosse teams in her time at VA. In two years Sophie has posted 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points. Next year, Sophie will be a student-athlete at Plymouth State University as a member of the Women’s Ice Hockey team. Thank you for all your contributions on and off of the ice, we will miss you!
