VA Falls at KUA

The Wildcats traveled north to Kimball Union on Wednesday afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. Lakes Region matchup. Segui ’21 earned the start between the pipes.

Kimball Union came out strong capitalizing on two opportunities in the first. Vermont was unable to score but created some buzz around the KUA goalie. Kimball Union added another two in the second and third periods. Kaltounkova ’20, who just returned from the 2019 IIHF World Championships in Japan, scored both goals for the Wildcats. The first off a feed from Creamer ’21 and the second from Creamer ’21 and Walsh ’22. Segui ’21 finished the night with 35 saves.

Vermont is back in action on Friday as they travel to Wolfeboro, NH to face off with Brewster for a 5 p.m. Lakes Region game.
