Wildcats Win on the Road

The Wildcats traveled to Phillips Exeter Academy for a neutral site game against Hebron Academy. Puck drop was at 5:15 pm, Jacobelli ’19 earned the start in net. After a slow first period, the Wildcats came out with something to prove in the second. Creamer ’21 opened the scoring off a feed from Bazin ’22 and Walsh ’22. Later in the period, Walsh ’22 scored a pair of goals two minutes apart, her firsts as a Wildcat. Citera ’21 got the assist on both, to put the Wildcats up by three going into the third. McCarthy ’22 finished off the scoring in the third period to secure the 4-0 win, it was also her first goal as a Wildcat. Her assists coming from Streed ’19 and Loya ’20. VA travels to Connecticut this weekend for the First Annual Prep Meets Club Tournament. On Friday they play NYA at 3:15 pm at Ingalls Arena on the campus of Yale University.
