Jordan Loya and Aaron Gong
Week of Apr. 17th - Apr. 23rd
Girls Varsity Lacrosse: Jordan Loya '20 is VA's female AOW. Without a long tenured experience with lacrosse, Jordan is a natural. This week, in addition to playing outstanding defense, she had a clean game without calls for 3 second or shooting violations. She knows when to double team and when to slide to help her teammates or the open person. She is a competitor with strong work ethic and a lot of determination.
Boys Varsity Tennis: Aaron Gong '19 is VA's male AOW. This past week he was seeded in the #1 spot and won all of his matches in both singles and doubles. He works extremely hard at practice and is leading this team by example in both practice and matches.
Vermont Academy is a coed college preparatory boarding and day school in southern Vermont, serving grades 9-12 plus a postgraduate year.
