2nd Annual Global Leadership Summer Program to Double in Size
Campers from the U.S. and around the world will converge on Saxtons River in July
Between 80 and 100 campuers are registered for this year's Global Leadership Summer Symposium, or twice as many as the program's inaugural year in 2017. From July 9 to 27, these students will be playing, working, learning, living, and eating on the Vermont Academy campus. Students will be housed in on-campus dormitories with recent Vermont Academy alumni supervising and living in rooms on each floor. Residential advisors will include Mary Anderson, Miguel Berreiro, Kaijie “Sugarman” Cai, Marta and Blanca Carreno, Adrian Diaz, and Bailey King.

The students will choose from among courses in ESL, Model UN, digital art, pottery, painting and sustainability. They will participate in Community Service events and learn about global issues and cultural sharing.
Limited space is still available for both boarding and day campers. Day students from the surrounding towns are encouraged to apply, as this is a rare opportunity to get to know students from around the world here in our small village.
