Our student choreographers are Mia Hennum ’22, Eliza Asante ’22, and Kim Perusa ’22. The dancers are Eliza Asante ’22, Sophie Balk ’25, Ruby Besson ’25, Laina Diamantis ’25, Mia Hennum ’22, Wolfgang Morlock ’22, and Kim Perusa ’22. Ms. Amy Lanterman is the coach.
At the end of the performance people congratulated Ms. Lanterman, who is retiring at the end of this year after teaching and coaching at Vermont Academy for over 30 years. As Dr. Zaccara noted, “In coaching dance and in her work in learning support, Amy Lanterman has touched so many lives. Our graduates continually tell me how important she has been in their Vermont Academy experience. Tonight, she danced with the dancers and she brought the word ‘Forgiveness’ forward at a time when we need this healing thought. The final statement of ‘Love’ is a testament to her gifts to all of us and countless others many of us do not know. Thank you, Amy. There is no one like you!”
