It is our distinct pleasure to announce that Herb Ellis '53, will be honored as the 2021 Florence R. Sabin Class of 1889 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient during Reunion in September.
Herb embodies the Sabin Award qualifications through his professional accomplishments and his passion for Vermont Academy. The Sabin Award Selection Committee was impressed by Herb's achievements as a leader in the aquatics industry and his ongoing commitment to Vermont Academy. Herb's work defining and creating the modern aquatic experience through innovative waterpark design and construction gained him entrance to the World Waterpark Association Hall of Fame in 2000.
