The Center for Learning at Vermont Academy At Vermont Academy, we work closely with students to become stronger learners. Through a partnership with our caring, dedicated, and knowledgeable staff, students develop self-awareness, learning about their strengths, and using those to overcome their challenges. In this way, we help students become independent learners and develop skills they will use throughout their lives.
If you would like to hear more about this program, please contact our Director of The Center for Learning, Peter Ahlfeld, at email@example.com

Step into one of our classrooms and experience a virtual class led by Jo Fuller, our English Department Chair. This recorded class is AP English Lit and Comp with a class size of 7.
"I thought I would share today's "episode" of AP English. We finished the last scene of King Lear, and this is the last traditional class we will have before they take the AP test. If you play 25:38 - 36:49, you will hear some discussion of making connections to personal lives and pop culture as well as the last 100 lines of the play. But maybe other parts of the class feel more useful to you. This was not our most fun class, but a good example of traditional content-focused teaching on Zoom." - Ms. Fuller
This was recorded last spring. Since September 2020, our students have been on our campus experiencing in-person classes.
