Learning Center

Welcome to Vermont Academy's Learning Center! At Vermont Academy, we pride ourselves on meeting and supporting students where they are on their academic journey. We respect that each student brings to their academics varying learning styles and pace.
The Learning Center provides the scaffolding for students to reach their fullest potential.

My name is Christy Catsos, and I'm the Director of Vermont Academy's Learning Center. Thank you for visiting our web pages to learn more about our program. The Learning Center at Vermont Academy models and supports behaviors that foster self-advocacy and independence. We work with students during their time here so that when they are ready to enter college, they are comfortable accessing resources on their own.

Our services encompass four core areas:
  • Building Motivation and Confidence
  • Coaching for Executive Function and ADHD
  • Managing Long-Term Projects
  • Tutoring for Specific Subjects

Please spend some time reviewing our information---the Learning Skills team has several learning strategies to help all students find techniques that they can deploy to become confident and motivated learners. Collectively, our team has over 120 years of teaching experience. We are dedicated to your student's success.
