Fall Parents' Weekend
Fall Parents' Weekend will take place October 22-24, 2009 and we hope all parents will be here to visit classes with their kids, attend parent/teacher conferences, see the student cabaret and participate in college counseling sessions.
This year the Parents' Association is moving their annual fundraiser to the fall weekend and we hope you will be able to support us. The Parents' Association raises money annually to help purchase items for the school that are not in the operating budget that enhance our students’ learning experience. The Vermont Academy Parents’ Association Operating Board voted to support wish list items submitted by faculty and staff. The recent awards were to purchase defibrillator equipment for health services, drafting chairs for use in the physics lab, new furniture for the student cafe, projectors for classrooms, funds for the senior graduation party, a grant for faculty appreciation incentives, and money to support our scholarship programs.
