About 25 percent of our student population is international and come from many different countries around the world including Canada, the Bahamas, China, Korea, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Rwanda, Turkey, Portugal, and Japan. Whether you plan to come for just one year or hope to graduate from Vermont Academy, you will find an academic program that’s right for you. In the past few years, international graduates of VA have attended Carnegie Mellon University, Boston College, Johns Hopkins University, Syracuse University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Emory University, Pennsylvania State University, and Brown University.
