Ethel is the office’s "right-hand woman." She helps usher interested students and their families through the admissions process. Ethel answers the phone, meets and greets people during appointments, handles paperwork, explains the admissions process, and is a whiz at tracking applications. In addition to juggling her work at VA, which has grown along with the volume of inquiries, Ethel says she never tires of getting to know the students and their families, and can’t imagine a better group of coworkers. That's obvious - she’s been working at Vermont Academy for more than 24 years! The mother of three daughters, Ethel lives with her husband, Don, in nearby Westminster.
