Lisa Eckhardt McNealus has taught in the Visual Arts Department at Vermont Academy since 1999. In addition to working with students in the basic studio courses and Advanced Art, she also teaches Art History. She coordinates the Arts and Culture trip for the school’s travel program to Cadiz, Spain. As a founding member of the Girls soccer program while she was a student at Vermont Academy, she is delighted to coach the J.V. Girls Soccer team.
Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked as a Commercial Photographer’s Assistant on Madison Avenue and as the Director of Development at Burr and Burton Academy. At Burr and Burton, she helped the school develop its first large scale campaign and reach its first million dollar donation. She keeps up with her artwork and licenses her special handcut collage designs. She also keeps engaged by working in pastels and painting. She enjoys spending time with her two children and can be found routing for them at soccer games and on the ski slopes. She also loves to read, grow flowers and generally remain active. She lives on campus. |
