| | Bio | Sean Campbell is a Vermont Academy alumnus, one of 10 members of his family over three generations to attend the school. He graduated from The University of Vermont with a degree in business. Sean was, for many years, involved in Vermont politics as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives holding a number of leadership roles. In 1997 he left elective office to work for Governor Howard Dean. He served as Commissioner of Taxes, Commissioner of Finance and Management, and finally as Secretary of Administration. This is Sean’s third period of service to Vermont Academy. He has returned to serve as Chief Financial Officer, a position he filled between 2003 and 2006. Previously he worked as an Admissions and Development Assistant in the mid-seventies. |
